Happy Halloween Eve

Okay, so I know I already posted today, but I am feeling too festive and excited not to spread a little holiday cheer.

I'll start you off with this little gem:

How freaking cute were my sister and I?  I'm dying over the cuteness and the sweatsuits.  You better believe those are the scrunchy-bottom kind!

For as long as I can remember, our Halloween traditions included going to the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie's Island, watching my dad and sister gut and carve my pumpkin, eating countless pumpkin muffins (my mom's specialty), and going to Trick-or-Treating with my cousins.  We would start at my Auntie's house and go door to door while our moms enjoyed a few grown-up beverages.  Then we would get to our grandma's house where fresh donuts and chili were waiting.  We would dump out our pillowcases (because that is the best candy bag there is) and let the trading begin.  After a childhood like that, how could I not adore Halloween.

So tonight, in preparation of the big day, I am being super festive!  I've got my pumpkin candles burning while I watch Halloweentown  Twilight (Netflix didn't have Halloweentown!  Assholes!) and adding a few last minute touches to my costume.  Next on the agenda, whip up some donut batter and and pack up all my Halloween goodies.  Can't wait for the celebrating to begin.

Oh, and I had popcorn for dinner.  Whatever, it's a holiday.

Happy Halloween Eve!

OhMyGod – I’m Starting a Blog!

“They should totally make a show about us!”  I literally can’t tell you how many times my friends and I have uttered those words… Okay, so maybe we would be the only viewers, but still.  After years of planning my confessionals and catchy intro, I’m coming to terms with the fact that I will never be the star of my own reality show.  Wah wah.  I guess it’s time to resort to Plan B… I’ll be the star of my own blog!   So here it is, my slightly narcissistic, totally honest, and hopefully hysterical blog.
