15 Resolutions for 2015

Happy 2015 Everyone!

Although 2014 totally killed it, I am totally looking forward to the new year. And what better way to start than by winning the Rose Bowl.   Way to go, Ducks!  Time to win that national title.
It wouldn't be a new year without a couple of resolutions for a little bit of motivation.  We all now how much a love a catchy slogan, so here you have it.
15 Resolutions for 2015
1. Keep In Touch - One of my fav things about my life are the people in it.  Unfortunately, all those people have fanned out.  This year, I would like to reach out to one person every single day.  Whether it is a phone call or a text, whether they live across the country or across the street... I want to be better about staying in contact.
2. Get Healthy - Okay, so I have said it before but this time I mean it.  Like... I walk up the stairs and get winded.  How freaking pathetic.  Time for this bitch to get healthy.  That means eating well, getting some form of exercise everyday, and drinking a shit ton of water.  Don't worry, I won't be gettin' all crazy.  I'm not trying to starve myself... I'm clearly not a model... Just need an overall healthier life.
3. No More Snoozin' - We've all been there... First, it's like "Okay, 5 more minutes"... Then suddenly it is like "Meh, I showered yesterday"... Next "Screw Make Up, who am I trying to impress anyways"... Before you know it you have to run out the door and barely have time to brush your teeth.  That ends now.  It is time to be up  with the alarm.  I may have to put it across the room to make it happen, but I'll do what I have to do.
4. Get Ready for Bed Every Night -  This is real life, guys.  I'm doing it.  Even when I am black out drunk... It's happening.
5. Maintain a Work Life Balance - Okay, this is a repeat... But work has been cray lately, and  I need to allow myself one night a week to get off early and make sure I am doing fun activities during the week.  I have basically just been working all week then enjoying the  weekend.  It is time to enjoy all parts of the week.  Weekends as well as week days.
6. Deep Clean at Least Once a Week - I refuse to admit the last time I deep cleaned the ol' apartment, but I need to step up my game.  Unacceptable.
7. Start Volunteering - Not sure where or when or how often, but it is time to get back into it.
8. Organize my Apartment - I am getting there, but I still have a ways to go.
9. Put the Kitchen to Use - I am full of excuses as to why I haven't been cooking.  Small kitchen... Busy with work... To tired... No groceries.  Enough with the BS.  It is time to start cooking and baking again.  So... To hold myself accountable... I am going to shoot for one new recipe a week and one baked good each week.  That sounds like a good place to start.
10. Explore - I hate to admit it... But I think I am in a bit of a rut.  When I first moved to Seattle, it was a brand new city and I was so excited to visit new places.  Everything I did was a totally sovereign experience.  I was such an adventurer then... now.... I am boring as shit.  I mean, come on!  I am 25... Not 75.  Time to spice things up.  At least once a month, I am going to do something new and different.  I know... Seems a little weak... But it is a step in the right direction.
11. Make a Budget - Accountants are notorious for being the worst budgeters... And I am no exception.  Time to be a big kid... So that sucks.

12. Take More Pics - I am admittedly the WORST photographer and the most inconsistent.  This year, I vow to take one picture every day.... Let's just hope I can remember.

13. Be the Best Maid of Honor There Ever Was - Duh.  I love to be the best.  Can't wait for my incredible sisterfriend Mattie to marry her boo and am so stoked to be a part of it.

14. Pick Up the Blog Activity - I suck... Sorry guys.  Once a week, I promise to blog at least once a week.

15. Be Happy - Simple as that.  With all the stress and negativity in the world, it is so easy to let it get the better of you.  Just isn't worth it.  This year, I want to make my own happiness.

So excited to make the most of 2015.  I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year.  Cheers!
